Launched by the Emirates Literature Foundation and managed by the Wikimedians of UAE User Group, the Million Wiki Project aims to enrich Arabic Wikimedia projects through funding opportunities and community engagement. Over three years, we seek to generate one million new contributions, reflecting the diverse cultural richness, historical heritage, and contemporary interests of Arabic-speaking communities.

By fostering active participation, localizing content, and engaging students, we aim to build an inclusive and thriving Arabic Wikimedia community. This initiative democratizes access to knowledge for millions of people, inspiring deeper understanding, igniting curiosity, and cultivating a legacy of continuous learning.

In this session, we will delve deeper into the project, discuss its challenges, and invite Wikimedians to apply for the grant committee, contributing to shaping the future of Arabic knowledge on Wikimedia platforms.
